General

How many quizzes can I create?

Free accounts can create up to 6 quizzes. Pro accounts can create up to 12 quizzes.

Is there a limit on responses?

Each quiz can collect up to 1,000 responses on both free and paid plans.

Can I delete my quiz?

Yes, you can delete your quiz from the quiz detail page. Note that this will also delete all responses.

AI Features

How does AI image generation work?

Pro users can generate cover images and outcome images using AI. Simply click the 'Generate with AI' button and our AI will create a unique image based on your quiz content.

What are AI Personality Reports?

Quiz takers who are logged in automatically get an AI-generated personality profile based on all the quizzes they've completed. The more quizzes they take, the more accurate their profile becomes!

Can I import quizzes from ChatGPT?

Yes! You can use ChatGPT to generate quiz content in JSON format and import it directly into DIY Your Quiz. We provide a prompt template to help you get started.

Analytics & Data

What analytics are available?

You can track total responses, completion rates, outcome distribution, and view daily response trends. Pro users can also export all data to CSV.

Can I export my quiz responses?

Yes! Pro users can export all responses to CSV from the analytics page, including response dates, outcomes, and email addresses (if collected).

What is outcome comparison?

When enabled, participants see how their result compares to others who took the quiz, showing the percentage breakdown of each outcome.

Gamification & Leaderboard

How does XP and leveling work?

Quiz takers earn 10 XP for each quiz they complete. As they accumulate XP, they level up from Quiz Novice (Level 1) all the way to Quiz Grandmaster (Level 20).

How do I earn badges?

Badges are earned by reaching milestones like completing your first quiz, taking multiple unique quizzes, or reaching certain levels. Each badge also grants bonus XP!

How does the leaderboard work?

The leaderboard ranks all quiz takers by their total XP or badge count. Complete more quizzes to climb the rankings!

Publishing & Sharing

What's the difference between draft and published?

Draft mode lets you make changes without affecting the live quiz. When you're ready, publish to make changes live. You can also preview and review changes before publishing.

How do participants share their results?

Each quiz response gets a unique shareable link. Participants can copy this link or share directly to social media platforms.

Can participants share their personality profiles?

Yes! Logged-in users can share their AI-generated personality profile with a unique link. They control whether their profile is public or private.
